Volleyball Recap: Paxton's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After a string of four wins, Paxton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sandhills/Thedford Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 13th.

While Paxton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23.

Sandhills/Thedford can attribute much of their success to Grace Johnston, who had three digs and two aces.

Paxton's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Sandhills/Thedford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Paxton will take on Arapahoe at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sandhills/Thedford, they will host Brady on Thursday.
