Sterlington had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Neville Tigers with a sharp 16-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 12 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Sterlington's win bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Neville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterlington will face off against Weston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven contests. As for Neville, they will square off against Alexandria at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
