It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fishers had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Noblesville Millers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Millers back in September, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Laila Love paced Fishers' offense, picking up nine kills. Love got some help from Ava Tester and her 23 assists. Finally, Milana Mays kept Fishers' defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Noblesville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Piper Endris, who had ten digs and three aces.

Fishers moved to 17-15 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak. As for Noblesville, they moved to 21-11 with that loss, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Fishers will challenge Carmel at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Noblesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
