Baseball Recap: Lower Richland Comes Up Short

Lower Richland lost against South Florence on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets lost 10-1 to the South Florence Bruins. The Diamond Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lower Richland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ronyal Watson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Lower Richland now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for South Florence, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lower Richland is taking a road trip to take on Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Florence, they have already played their next game, a 7-6 defeat against East Clarendon on the 15th.
