Volleyball Recap: Walnut Grove Find Success

The Walnut Grove Warriors beat the Stephens County Indians 2-0 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Their offense was headlined by Zoe Moser and Lena Battenfeld, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Bella Johnson and her 15 assists. Kaylee Hyde controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Walnut Grove's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Stephens County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Coming up, Walnut Grove will face off against East Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stephens County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Elbert County on the 28th.
