Basketball Recap: Gaffney Takes a Loss

After flying high against Spartanburg last Friday, Gaffney came back down to earth. The Gaffney Indians were beaten by the Riverside Warriors 75-48 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost seven in a row.

Gaffney's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Riverside, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gaffney will welcome Boiling Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against James F. Byrnes at 7:30 p.m.
