Football Game Preview: Huron River Rats vs. Monroe Trojans + How To Watch

The Huron River Rats will square off against the Monroe Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Huron came into this matchup off a tough 28-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Bedford by a score of 31-28 on Friday. The River Rats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Huron's defeat came about despite a quality game from Brandon Willis, who threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 61 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Monroe came up short against Pioneer on Friday and fell 21-14. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Huron now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
