Basketball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

After flying high against East Chapel Hill last Tuesday, Jordan came back down to earth. The Jordan Falcons came up short against the Chapel Hill Tigers on Saturday, falling 50-27. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Ashton Beale had an outrageously good game for Chapel Hill as she dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Beale has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Zoe Smith, who put up 11 points and eight boards.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Jordan nor Chapel Hill have any future games scheduled.
