Volleyball Recap: Acton-Boxborough Revolution vs. Lexington Minutemen
Acton-Boxborough faced Lexington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Revolution fell 3-1 to the Minutemen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Revolution of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.
Acton-Boxborough started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-15, 25-19, 25-19.
Nick Sanchez-DeRojas was the offensive standout of the match as he had six digs and four aces. What's more, he posted two assists, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.
