Southeast was the 63-39 winner over HEM when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Cyclones received a blow on Saturday as they fell 60-44 to the Miners.

When it comes to explaining why Southeast lost, don't look at Beaux Shimic. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-14 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Liam Haas, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for HEM, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-34 victory against Rock River on the 20th. As for HEM, they have also already played their next contest, a 61-30 win against Guernsey-Sunrise on the 20th.
