Volleyball Recap: Cross County Comes Up Short

Cross County lost against Clarkson/Leigh back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12.

Sydney Hengelfelt paced Cross County's offense, picking up eight kills. Hengelfelt got some help from Eden Peterson and her 13 assists.

Cross County dropped their record down to 13-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Clarkson/Leigh, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.

Cross County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Aquinas on the 4th. As for Clarkson/Leigh, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Wynot on the 4th.
