Jordan is 0-10 against Long Beach Poly since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Jackrabbits at 3:00 p.m. Jordan has given up an average of 13.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Jordan gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They blew past Century 21-12. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Angelina Castro was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and seven unearned) runs off seven hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Michelle Hernandez was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cassandra Rubio, who went 2-for-6 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Jordan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .592. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Long Beach Poly came out on top against Carson on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Jackrabbits had just enough and edged out the Colts 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jackrabbits have posted since May 24, 2025.
Jordan's record now sits at 6-12. As for Long Beach Poly, their record is now 12-4.
Jordan suffered a grim 18-0 defeat to Long Beach Poly in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
