St. Paul had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt New London on Tuesday. The Flyers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. This was payback for the Flyers, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

St. Paul's got stronger as the match went on, holding New London to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-11.
