Basketball Recap: Lancaster Country Day Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lancaster Country Day entered their game against Lancaster Mennonite on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Lancaster Country Day took a hard 57-39 fall against the Lancaster Mennonite Blazers. While losing is never fun, Lancaster Country Day can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while Lancaster Mennonite is ranked 75th).

Lancaster Country Day's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5. As for Lancaster Mennonite, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Columbia the next time they take the court. Lancaster Country Day will host Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Lancaster Mennonite will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
