Basketball Recap: PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Triumphs

PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central is still undefeated this season after their contest against South County on Monday, but South County came as close as anyone has to beating them. The PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays came out on top in a nail-biter against the South County Vipers, sneaking past 44-41. The 44-point effort marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for South County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central and Bowen will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South County, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Greenfield/Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
