Softball Preview: Cuba Wildcats vs. Belle Tigers
The Cuba Wildcats are on the road again on Tuesday to play the Belle Tigers at 5:00 p.m.
Cuba lost 21-9 to St. James on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Belle came tearing into Saturday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 10-3 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Cuba dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Belle, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
Everything went Cuba's way against Belle in their previous matchup back in September of 2021 as Cuba made off with an 11-1 victory.
