After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Freeman, Stafford was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles. The victory was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Stafford was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-18, 25-8.

Stafford's record now sits at 11-18. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Stafford will square off against rival Royal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fort Bend Willowridge is set to take on their familiar foe Harmony School of Innovation at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
