Softball Recap: Bell Takes a Loss

Bell and Fort White squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bell had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bell has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Fort White, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Bell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort White, they will face off against Branford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buccaneers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
