Softball Preview: Morningside Academy Eagles vs. Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds
The Morningside Academy Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Morningside Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Panthers as they made off with a 17-7 victory.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Park Academy got themselves on the board against Central on Wednesday, but Central never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cobras with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lincoln Park Academy.
Kanosha Hartwell was excellent, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Paislyn Ankiel, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Morningside Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
