After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tecumseh, Jackson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 26-20 W over the Monroe Trojans. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

Jackson's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Monroe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
