Volleyball Game Preview: Animo Pat Brown Gryphons vs. Animo Watts Warriors

After both having extra time off, the Animo Pat Brown Gryphons and the Animo Watts Warriors will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Animo Pat Brown will be strutting in after a victory while Animo Watts will be coming in after a loss.

Two weeks ago, Animo Pat Brown was able to grind out a solid win over WISH Academy, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gryphons.

Animo Pat Brown walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Animo Watts suffered their biggest defeat since March 6th on April 9th. They came up short against Animo Venice, falling 3-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-21, 25-17.

Animo Watts' loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Animo Pat Brown, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Animo Pat Brown beat Animo Watts 3-1 when the teams last played on April 2nd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gryphons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
