Basketball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln pushed their score to 70 the last time they played New Haven, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Lincoln Abes took a hard 30-16 fall against the New Haven Rockets. The Abes' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for New Haven, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will square off against Hazel Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Haven, they will challenge Madison at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
