Basketball Recap: Marathon Takes Down Cadott in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Marathon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 56-28 victory over the Cadott Hornets. The Red Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Cadott's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kennedy Nerdrum, who posted ten points and six rebounds, and Taylor Hager, who earned 13 points. Nerdrum has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Marathon's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Cadott, their loss dropped their record down to 11-15.

As of now, neither Marathon nor Cadott have any future games scheduled.
