Baseball Recap: St. Mark's Comes Up Short

St. Mark lost against Greenhill back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Hornets, falling 9-1.

St. Mark's has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Greenhill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mark's will head out to face off against Parish Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Greenhill, they will venture away from home to take on St. Stephen's Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
