Cam Johnson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Cam Johnson's big game helped extend Corvian Community's winning streak to seven on Friday. Johnson was excellent, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 42 receiving yards. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (103.9) per game. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Johnson will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Community School of Davidson on Friday. The Cardinals had to take a loss when they last met the Spartans, but Johnson had little to do with the loss: he rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

AJ Jackson Jr. and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
AJ Jackson Jr.'s big game helped extend Corvian Community's winning streak to seven on Friday. Carver had no answer to Jackson Jr. as he rushed for 56 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 197 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes.
On the year, Jackson Jr. has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 107.4 passing yards per game.

Alex Waterfield Turns in Season-Best Effort
Bishop McGuinness was led to victory by Alex Waterfield, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Waterfield threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Waterfield might just drop another big game when he faces off against Mountain Island Charter on Friday. Waterfield threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 124 yards the last time he and the Raptors duked it out back in October of 2023.

Community School of Davidson Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to Oliver Morris
Oliver Morris's big game helped extend Community School of Davidson's winning streak to four on Friday. Morris did his part (and then some), picking up 62 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'. He has become a key player for Community School of Davidson: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
On the season, Morris has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 46.6 receiving yards per game.

Joshua Moses Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Joshua Moses of Mountain Island Charter. Moses made six total tackles and defended a pass. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending a pass.
Mountain Island Charter's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4. Moses' next match is against Bishop McGuinness on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
