The Littleton Lions can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Pomona 57-37. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-13.

Jacy Chandler was her usual excellent self, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 4 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Samantha Hernandez Tobon, who scored 13 points along with three steals and two blocks.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aaliyah Valenzuela, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Valenzuela is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played. Teagan Anna was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds.

Pomona struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Littleton racked up 13 assists.

The win got Littleton back to even at 10-10. As for Pomona, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Littleton will look to defend their home court on Friday against Evergreen at 6:00 p.m. Averaging 51.75 points so far this season, Littleton's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Evergreen better be ready for a challenge. As for Pomona, they will head out on the road to take on Dakota Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Pomona focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Wednesday.
