Football Recap: Bruton Panthers vs. Gloucester Dukes
After only 12 points in their last matchup, Bruton made sure to put some points up on the board against Gloucester on Friday. The Panthers blew past the Dukes 34-8. Considering the Panthers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Khalon Murrell was the offensive standout of the game as he picked up 72 receiving yards and one score. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bruton's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Paul Veith was the leader with two.
