Baseball Game Preview: Vista Murrieta Broncos vs. Murrieta Valley Nighthawks

For the second straight game, Vista Murrieta will face off against Murrieta Valley. The Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nighthawks at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Vista Murrieta will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Vista Murrieta nor Murrieta Valley made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Broncos never let the Nighthawks get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Vista Murrieta got a great performance from Jonas Jusay as he didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Taytum Reeves was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryland Duson, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Vista Murrieta kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Murrieta Valley only managed six hits.

Vista Murrieta's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Murrieta Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
