Softball Game Recap: Perry Traditional Academy Commodores vs. Taylor Allderdice Dragons

Perry Traditional Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-4 in the process. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-0 to the Taylor Allderdice Dragons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on Monday.

As for Taylor Allderdice, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.

For Taylor Allderdice's part, Delia Graham made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Graham was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

In other batting news, Arieyanna Massie was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Gracie Whitt was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI.

Coincidentally, Perry Traditional Academy and Taylor Allderdice will both be playing Brashear the next time they take the field. The Dragons will host the Bulls at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Commodores will host them at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
