Baseball Recap: Liberty North's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Liberty North won the last time they faced Kearney and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles walked away with an 8-3 win over the Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Brett Swanson was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Max Lemasters also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Liberty North's record now sits at 9-2. As for Kearney, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty North will venture away from home to square off against Lee's Summit West at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kearney, they will square off against Platte County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
