Soccer Game Preview: Smiths Station vs. Brewbaker Tech

The Smiths Station Panthers will face off against the Brewbaker Tech Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Smiths Station is coming into the match hot, having won their last 11 games.

Brewbaker Tech better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Smiths Station's game last Thursday is any indication, that's when Smiths Station really gets things going. Smiths Station put the hurt on Lee-Scott Academy with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Smiths Station, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

Haley Ciccarello and Sara Munguia scored all five of Smiths Station's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 52 goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time since March 1st, Brewbaker Tech was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and Charles Henderson finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Smiths Station pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Brewbaker Tech's draw gives them a new season record of 5-5-6.
