Soccer Game Preview: Birdville vs. Argyle

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Birdville face off against the Argyle at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Birdville is looking for their season's first victory.

Birdville fell victim to Colleyville Heritage and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 7-0.

Meanwhile, Argyle kept a clean sheet against Ryan on Tuesday. They blew past the Raiders 3-0. Kayden Ayala had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Eagles.

Argyle's win bumped their record up to 7-3-2. As for Birdville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10-1.

Birdville beat Argyle 4-2 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Birdville since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
