Recap: LaFayette Bulldogs vs. Horseshoe Bend Generals
In what's become a running theme this season, the LaFayette Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. Everything went their way against Horseshoe Bend as LaFayette made off with a 65-45 win. The victory was nothing new for LaFayette as they're now sitting on seven straight.
It was another big night for Deaundra Vines, who scored 18 points along with eight steals and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaderrian Story, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
LaFayette is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Horseshoe Bend, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaFayette won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Beauregard at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Beauregard is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Horseshoe Bend, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central of Coosa County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
