Softball Recap: Gray-New Gloucester Takes a Loss

Gray-New Gloucester lost against Leavitt on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patriots came up short against the Hornets, falling 13-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gray-New Gloucester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Leavitt, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Leavitt will venture away from home to square off against Lake Region at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lakers have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. Gray-New Gloucester will be paying especially close attention to Leavitt's matchup: after Leavitt faces off against Erskine Academy, they'll take on Gray-New Gloucester again at 4:00 p.m.
