Cedar Ridge waltzed into their game  on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Williams Bulldogs with a sharp  18-0 victory. Considering the Fighting Red Wolves have won ten matchups by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Mia Best made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  triples, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  two  triples gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Cedar Ridge got a  massive  performance out of  Qiaura Rogers, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  Rogers a new career-high.  Raegan Remaly was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Cedar Ridge  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Williams only posted  an  OBP of  .167.
Cedar Ridge's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-5. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Williams, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record  this season.
 Cedar Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  2-1  defeat against Western Alamance on the 23rd. As for Williams, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  20-11  loss against Trinity on the 23rd.
