Softball Recap: Cary Academy Takes a Loss

Cary Academy lost against GRACE Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cary Academy Chargers came up short against the GRACE Christian Eagles, falling 19-2. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cary Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mirella DiGiulio, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Cary Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for GRACE Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Cary Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-10 defeat against North Raleigh Christian Academy on the 18th. GRACE Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Franklin Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th.
