Hampshire and Shady Spring squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hampshire had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Shady Spring was led to victory by Bryanna Shrewsberry and Alivia Stover. Shrewsberry had five digs and three aces, while Stover hit 76.5% for 14 kills and six digs and three blocks. Stover has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 17 times she's played.

Hampshire's loss dropped their record down to 23-8-2. As for Shady Spring, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 39-12-1 record this season.

Hampshire does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shady Spring, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Spring Valley on the 11th.
