Softball Recap: Murdock Takes a Loss

Murdock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-2 to the Narragansett Regional Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Lilyana Lee was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. Kenndra Lamb also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Murdock's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Narragansett Regional, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Murdock has already played their next matchup (against Ayer Shirley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Narragansett Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-5 victory against Lunenburg on the 14th.
