Volleyball Recap: South Jones Braves vs. Our Lady Academy Crescents
South Jones was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Our Lady Academy Crescents.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.
Our Lady Academy can attribute much of their success to Kinsley Stegall, who had nine digs.
South Jones' loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Our Lady Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 30-3 record this season.
South Jones will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Northeast Jones at 6:30 p.m. Northeast Jones is coming into the matchup with four straight victories at home, so South Jones will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Our Lady Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win vs. Presbyterian Christian on the 21st.
