Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tai Molina and Elliot Hoagland Lead Santana to Victory

Santana won the last time they faced Steele Canyon and things went their way on Monday too. Santana walked away with a 3-1 win over Steele Canyon.

The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 18-25, 25-17.

Leading Santana to victory were Elliot Hoagland and Tai Molina. Hoagland had 16 digs, while Molina had 12 digs and two aces. Those 16 digs gave Hoagland a new career-high.

Santana picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Steele Canyon, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-5.

Santana didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against El Cajon Valley on the 18th. As for Steele Canyon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Valhalla on the 18th.
