Soccer Recap: United Takes a Loss

United was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Branch Warriors. United were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Branch apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

United's goal came courtesy of Josh Hawkins, who's now up to four this season.

United's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Branch, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, United will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Heartland Christian at 6:00 p.m. As for West Branch, they will head out on the road to square off against Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
