Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Evergreen Vikings. On the bright side, the 38- point performance marked the Golden Bears' highest-scoring contest to date.

Bryan's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Evergreen, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
