It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Midlothian Heritage had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the University Trojans. The result was nothing new for Midlothian Heritage, who have now won 13 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting University from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Chandler Wheat led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Midlothian Heritage pushed their record up to 13-7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three games. As for University, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Midlothian Heritage challenge Wilson on Monday. Wilson will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Midlothian Heritage surely won't give up without a fight. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
