While Coleman's victory against St. Charles wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Comets skirted past the Bulldogs 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Brennan Glazier was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Glazier, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Coleman's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for St. Charles, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Coleman will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
