Lewisville won against North Central last Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Lions beat the Great Falls Red Devils by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Lewisville is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Great Falls, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.

Coming up, Lewisville will take on Chester at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Great Falls will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' game: after the Lions faces off against the Cyclones, they'll take on Great Falls again at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
