Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Thatcher

There's no place like home for Thatcher, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

Jocelyn Lunt paced Thatcher's offense, picking up eight kills. Lunt got some help from Alli Johnson and her 16 assists. Makenzi Lunt controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Thatcher's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-12. As for Andrada Polytechnic, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Thatcher didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Snowflake on the 7th. As for Andrada Polytechnic, they will head out to challenge The Gregory School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
