Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison lost to A.C. Reynolds back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots fell 7-4 to the Rockets.

Layla Rhinehart was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Ezra Reed was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for A.C. Reynolds, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.

Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for A.C. Reynolds, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-2 win against Asheville on the 30th.
