Baseball Recap: Comer Comes Up Short

Comer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the Wadley Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Wednesday.

Comer's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Wadley, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for Wadley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Horseshoe Bend at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Horseshoe Bend has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.14 runs per game on average), something Wadley will no doubt try to take advantage of.
