Basketball Recap: Millville Takes a Loss

Millville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 74-48 to the South Williamsport Mountaineers. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 679th, while the Mountaineers are ranked 278th).

Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for South Williamsport, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millville will welcome Bucktail at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Williamsport, they will challenge Hughesville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. South Williamsport has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
