Baseball Recap: Temple City Takes a Loss

Temple City fell victim to South El Monte and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South El Monte Eagles. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Temple City's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for South El Monte, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Temple City will venture away from home to take on Monrovia at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South El Monte, they will head out on the road to challenge Covina at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
